Anecdote: My grand-dad, Frazier Peele, started this ferry service back in the 1940's & sold it to the state of North Carolina in 1957 for $30K ~ he continued to run it for the NCDOT until his death. Don't be appalled at the old ramp - at that time, the roads on Hatteras & Ocracoke islands weren't paved either.

Purchased on 7.21.07 from a very nice gentleman farmer in Williamston, NC
Condition: pretty darn good for a 38yr old boat ~ rock-solid deck & transom ~ light as a feather!
Loads of spider cracking (normal), no holes, small area along bow / rub-rail that needs to be ground off & re-filled.
Everyone in the family is fighting over this one ~ so, it looks like a keeper!
